Benjamin Appl and James Baillieu closed out our 2022-23 Season with a recital that moved many in the audience to tears. It was one of the most deeply touching and brilliant performances we have presented. Immediately afterwards, a plan was hatched to bring these two remarkable artists back to Vancouver to perform Schubert’s three great song cycles. After a lot of back-and-forth, our calendars aligned and this Schubertian dream will be realized in the wonderfully intimate Telus Studio Theatre. Be sure to bring a handkerchief along with your ticket!
