Jonathan Crow & Friends: Bach Concerti & Concerto Grosso
Details
Bach’s concerti are timeless, and few violinists bring them to life with as much brilliance as soloist, chamber musician, and concertmaster Jonathan Crow. Jonathan possesses a unique gift to lead exquisite interpretations of Bach’s intricate works with nimbleness and the sense of immediacy.
Jonathan will be by a handpicked ensemble of superb collaborators, including Vancouver Symphony’s principal flutist, Christie Reside, Amanda Chan on harpsichord, and up-and-coming violin soloist, Anna Stube.
This concert will explore Bach’s iconic concerti: The E-Major Violin Concerto, the Double Violin Concerto, and the Brandenburg Concerto Grosso No. 4. Expect a grand and refined party of great Canadian musicians filling our stages this concert week.
