All Lang: Conversations & Dress Rehearsal
Details
We hope you'll consider joining us for the All Lang Dress Rehearsal, for a suggested donation of $25 per ticket.
In addition to observing the Company’s final rehearsal before Opening Night, your ticket also includes an invite to a pre-rehearsal Conversation. Join us at 5:30 pm in the McCaw Hall Lecture Hall for an in-depth discussion with specially-curated experts and artists. Please note that there is limited seating available for the Conversation.
Doors to McCaw Hall will open at 5:00 pm, and dress rehearsal seating will begin at 6:30 pm. Seating will be in the Dress Circle, First & Second Tiers, and on a first-come, first-served basis. Concessions inside McCaw Hall will not be open before or during the rehearsal.
Please note: Dress rehearsals are working rehearsals, and some aspects of the production may not appear on stage, such as full make-up and costumes. Dancers may not dance full out, but instead simply block out their steps. They may also be asked to repeat sections of the ballet to perfect the performance. This all requires great concentration. So please refrain from talking, turn off all cell phones, and do not take photographs.
Celebrate PNB’s Resident Choreographer Jessica Lang with some of her most beloved works. Inspired by legendary American painter Georgia O’Keeffe’s Patio Door series, Her Door to the Sky is one of Lang’s most radiant pieces. In stark contrast, Ghost Variations explores Robert Schumann’s final compositions before he was confined to an asylum. ZigZag, Lang’s delightful tribute to the legendary career of Tony Bennet, rounds out this trio that highlights her versatility, virtuosity, and varied choreographic inspiration.
