Minli lives in a rundown house in the desolate valley of Fruitless Mountain. In the evenings, her father tells her folktales about dragons, jewels, and the Old Man on the Moon, who knows the answers to all life’s questions. One day, determined to improve her family’s fortunes, Minli sets off to find the Old Man on the Moon to ask for help.
Based on the award-winning novel by Grace Lin, Where the Mountain Meets the Moon, the Musical, takes audiences on an extraordinary journey. Along the way, Minli encounters a cast of incredible characters and magical creatures, including a dragon who accompanies her on her quest for the ultimate answer.
